Katja Marquart

Katja Marquart is a Professor and Interior Architecture Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Her work bridges design pedagogy, transformative spaces, and labyrinth applications.

• Active in campus governance via UWSP Curriculum Committee (2009-2020) and Grade Review Subcommittee (2016-17)
• Faculty advisor for student organizations including the International Interior Design Student Association (2006-present)
• Co-owner of Stonehouse Studio (2003-present) and community leader at Stonehouse Farm LLC (2011-present)

Research focuses on:

• Design patterns that induce transformation in physical/spiritual/mental dimensions
• Healing environments and their psycho-spatial impacts
• Historical and contemporary labyrinth applications
• Design visualization techniques
