Katja Gorbahn is an Associate Professor at the Department of History within the School of Communication and Culture at Aarhus University. Her work focuses on historical literacy, European identity formation, and the role of educational media in shaping political discourses. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary research projects such as EurEd (2018–2023) exploring interconnectedness in educational materials.
Her research integrates methodologies from history, political science, and education studies to analyze how concepts of Europeanness and national identities are constructed across time and media.
