Katie Hawke is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Applied Exercise Science at the University of New England's Westbrook College of Health Professions. She joined UNE in 2008 and oversees the Coaching minor program, coordinates Coaching internships, and serves as liaison for the Physical Education concentration. Her teaching focuses on Motor Learning, Sport Psychology, and Coach Education, integrating experiential learning with local youth.
Education: M.S. from Smith College (2001, Teaching Fellow), B.Ed. (Honors in Physical Education) from Leeds Beckett University (1992). Prior roles include Assistant Professor at Springfield College, where her lacrosse team achieved NEWMAC championships and NCAA berths, and Head Coach positions in Field Hockey and Squash at Elms College.
