Katie Callicott is an Academic Tutor in the School of Education at the University of Birmingham, specializing in Applied Educational and Child Psychology. She holds a BSci in Psychology from Cardiff University (2001) and has been practicing as an Educational Psychologist in the West Midlands since 2011. Since 2021, she splits her time 50/50 between academic roles and clinical practice.
Her research focuses on dynamic assessment, video-based reflection tools, and supervision methodologies in educational psychology. She collaborates with University College London to design clinical assessment tools and advocates for narrative therapy and activity theory approaches in practice.
