Dr. Katie Bank is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the Department of History at the University of Birmingham. Her research focuses on the intersection of musical-visual culture with natural philosophy, the passions, and sense perception in early modern England. She holds a PhD in musicology from Royal Holloway University of London (2016), an MA in musicology from King's College London (2012), an MA in education from the University of Southern California (2007), and a BA in history and music from Bowdoin College (2005).
