Katia Levintova

Dr. Katia Levintova is Professor of Political Science and Global Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. She serves as Chair of the Department of Political Science and Co-Director of the Center for Civic Engagement.

Her research focuses on pedagogical innovations in political science education and the political sociology of post-communist transitions. She has authored articles in the Journal of Political Science Education and Europe-Asia Studies, and received multiple State Department research grants.

Notable awards include:

She actively contributes to academic leadership as department chair and civic engagement initiatives through her co-directorship role.
