Kathy Rodriguez

Kathy Rodriguez is an Adjunct Instructor at Pennsylvania College of Art & Design (PCA&D), affiliated with the Center for Creative Exploration. She is a proud Puerto Rican artist and educator deeply committed to theater, creative expression, and community service.

Her artistic work centers on Latinx cultural narratives and identity. She is a co-founder and company member of Teatro Paloma, Lancaster’s first and only Latinx theatre company, which highlights underrepresented voices through performance. Her interdisciplinary practice bridges theatre, education, and digital media.

Outside the classroom, Kathy creates engaging educational and comedic content about Puerto Rican culture on her TikTok channel, @Kati_la_dramati, blending humor with cultural pride to reach broader audiences.

She contributes to the academic community through creative pedagogy and community engagement, fostering inclusive artistic spaces for students and audiences alike.
