Kathy Rho is the inaugural Director of Leadership Initiatives at the McNulty Leadership Program at the Wharton School and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Her roles focus on integrating research into leadership programming, fostering collaborative networks, and bridging academic and practitioner knowledge. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from UPenn, an MA from Harvard, and a BA from Smith College.
Her research explores social identities in leadership, reflective practice, and educational reform. She co-led the Standardized Professionals (SPs) and School Principals pilot study, a medical-education collaboration. She also edited Repositioning Educational Leadership (2018) and contributed an afterword to Critical Leadership Praxis (2021).
Rho has extensive experience in project management, mentoring leaders across educational sectors, and designing professional development programs. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association and曾 served as a Penn GSE representative for UCEA.
