Kathryn Steven

Dr. Kathryn Steven is Clinical Senior Lecturer and MBChB Deputy Programme Director (Phase Two) at the University of St Andrews School of Medicine. She maintains clinical practice as a General Practitioner in Fife alongside her academic role.

Her research focuses on medical education innovations, including interprofessional learning between medical and pharmacy students, widening participation in medicine, and integrating lifestyle medicine and planetary health into curricula. She holds an MBChB (Hons) from the University of Manchester, a Masters in Medical Education from Dundee, and completed her MD through research on interprofessional education frameworks.
