Kathryn Mowry

Kathryn Mowry serves as Professor at the School of Theology and Christian Ministry at Trevecca Nazarene University. She holds a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary and an M.A. in Educational Ministries from Wheaton Graduate School. An ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene, her research focuses on urban ministry practices and missionary work in post-Soviet states.

Her academic work centers on developing pastoral education frameworks and creating community engagement programs like Immerse and Mission Study Abroad. She bridges theological education with practical community implementation, particularly focusing on helping congregations embody the Kingdom of God in their communities.
