Kathryn Green

Kathryn Green is a Professor and Chair of the Vocal/Choral Division at Shenandoah Conservatory, Shenandoah University. As Executive Director of the CCM Institute and Director of Graduate Vocal Pedagogy Programs, she pioneered the first U.S. Master’s in CCM Voice and a DMA in Vocal Pedagogy. Her research on vocal demands and curriculum trends is published in the Journal of Voice and Journal of Singing.

Performance: An acclaimed contralto, she has performed oratorio and opera across the U.S. and Europe.
