Dr. Kathryn Adamson is a Senior Lecturer in Physical Geography at Manchester Metropolitan University. Her research focuses on Quaternary environmental change, glacier dynamics, river behavior, and landscape evolution, with fieldwork in the Arctic, Mediterranean, and Egypt. She employs techniques such as geomorphological mapping, sediment analysis, and geochronology. Dr. Adamson also engages in science communication through media, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
