Professor Kathrin Schumann is a faculty member at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), affiliated with the Department of Medical Microbiology, Immunology and Hygiene within the Faculty of Medicine. She serves as a Project Leader for Research Area AP3 within the SFB 1054 research collaboration.
Her research focuses on immunology and T cell biology, with specific expertise in epigenetic regulation of immune cell differentiation. Professor Schumann leads the Schumann Group, which conducts cutting-edge research using CRISPR screening technologies to investigate molecular mechanisms in human immune responses.
