Kathleen Coll is a Professor and Academic Director in the Department of Politics at the University of San Francisco. She holds a PhD, MA, and BA in Anthropology from Stanford University. Her research focuses on immigration politics, cultural citizenship, and grassroots organizing in the U.S., particularly in the San Francisco Bay Area. She co-authored Disputing Citizenship (2014) and authored Remaking Citizenship (2010), examining immigrant women’s activism through organizations like Mujeres Unidas y Activas.
