Kathie Snyder

Dr. Kathie Snyder is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Physics, Geology & the Environment at Winthrop University. She holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. in Chemistry from Washington and Jefferson College.

Her academic responsibilities include teaching general chemistry courses and managing the general chemistry laboratory program. She specializes in chemical hygiene and safety, overseeing the department's safety protocols and teaching a dedicated course on chemical hygiene and safety practices.
