Katherine R. H. Wagner

Katherine R. H. Wagner is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of British Columbia's Vancouver School of Economics, part of the Faculty of Arts. She holds a PhD in Economics from Yale University, an MA in Economics from UBC, and a BA in Economics and Accounting from McGill University. Her research focuses on Environmental and Energy Economics, Public Finance, and Climate Policy, emphasizing empirical analysis of environmental externalities, climate change mitigation/adaptation, and natural resource management. She has taught courses such as 'Economics of Climate Change' and previously served as an Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University's Institute for Economic Policy Research.
