Katherine Nancy Gibson

Katherine Nancy Gibson, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Clinician Educator at the Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (USC). She serves as Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Program and Family Medicine Clerkship Director. Her roles include patient care at the Family Medicine Clinic at Health Care Center 2 and teaching medical students in Intro to Clinical Medicine since 2010.

Dr. Gibson graduated from the Keck School of Medicine and completed her residency at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and has received awards for her medical achievements. Her research focuses on neuropsychological case studies, particularly Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) reversion, as evidenced by her peer-reviewed publication in Appl Neuropsychol Adult.

Her academic contributions include medical education innovation and clinical practice in family medicine. She actively participates in interdisciplinary collaborations within the Keck School of Medicine, emphasizing patient-centered care and educational excellence.
