Katherine Green

Katherine Green is an Associate Professor of Optometry at New England College of Optometry (NECO) and an attending optometrist at the NECO Center for Eye Care in Commonwealth. She holds a BS in Biochemistry from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio and an OD from the Illinois College of Optometry, with a residency in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

Her research focuses on Neuro-Rehabilitation, Pediatrics, Sports Vision Enhancement, and Visual Information Processing. Notable contributions include studies on colored filters for traumatic brain injury patients and optic nerve pathology diagnostics. She has been honored with prestigious awards including the 2022 Young Optometrist Alumni of the Year and 2018 American Academy of Optometry Fellowship.
