Katherine Evans

Katherine Evans is a Lecturer in Education (Early Childhood Studies) at the Plymouth Institute of Education, part of the School of Society and Culture within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business at the University of Plymouth. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to quality education.

Her teaching focuses on early childhood education, initial teacher training, work-based learning with children and families, and the application of posthuman perspectives in early years education. She specializes in readiness and transitions in early childhood and pedagogical practices for young children's communication.
