Katherine Allocco

Katherine Allocco is a Professor in the Department of History at Western Connecticut State University, affiliated with the Macricostas School of Arts & Sciences. She holds a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and specializes in medieval British history, with a focus on gender, power, and authority in late medieval England and France.

Dr. Allocco’s unpublished dissertation, accessible only with her permission, explores themes of gender and authority in medieval chronicles such as The Middle English Prose Brut.
