About
Katharina Wille is a Researcher and active student at Freie Universität Berlin, affiliated with the Department of Education and Psychology and the Learning Lab. She is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Human Factors at Technische Universität Berlin (2021–present) and a B.Sc. in Psychology at Freie Universität Berlin (2020–present). Her work intersects experimental psychology and cognitive science, focusing on learning under uncertainty and threat.
Her research involves combining interactive online games with physiological measurements, such as electrodermal activity and heart rate, to study learning mechanisms in uncertain and threatening conditions. She has also contributed to a preprint study (2025) analyzing the absence of systematic effects of internalizing psychopathology on uncertainty-based learning.
This project, conducted in collaboration with Dr. Rasmus Bruckner, Hashim Satti, and other researchers, reflects her engagement with interdisciplinary methodologies and resource-rational learning frameworks. Katharina is part of the Learning Lab, which explores cognitive processes across the lifespan and collaborates with institutions like Hasso-Plattner-Institut and Universität Potsdam.
