Katharina Glaab

Katharina Glaab is an Associate Professor at the Department of International Environment and Development Studies (Noragric) at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Her work bridges International Relations, global governance, and political ecology, focusing on environmental and socio-technical changes in the Anthropocene.

• Research Focus: Climate change politics, agricultural biotechnology, space governance, and Arctic security.
• Projects: Leads Nordic Space Infrastructures (NordSpace) funded by the Norwegian Research Council; coordinates the UArctic network Arctic-space sustainability; and co-leads a teaching/research collaboration with American University on geopolitical ecology.
• Teaching: Course Convenor for International Relations Theory (EDS374A), International Organizations (EDS380), and co-convenes master seminars in International Relations.
• Supervision: Supervises PhD candidates Tomohiro Harada (main supervisor), Greta Juskaite (co-supervisor), and Ida Tarjem (co-supervisor).
