Kate Spittle

Kate Spittle is an Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacy at Swansea University, specializing in research and education within primary care settings. She has extensive experience across academia, community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and GP practice, particularly leading the national GP pharmacist training program at HEIW for five years. Her expertise includes anticoagulation, diabetes management, pain management, menopause, and HRT. She teaches modules such as Patient-Centred Learning I-III (PMP201-301) and oversees student research projects in pharmacy practice, drug delivery, and public health. Her research focuses on hypothyroidism management and genetic influences on treatment efficacy in collaboration with a diabetologist. She is also an Intermediate Welsh Speaker.
