Kate Poirier is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the New York City College of Technology (CityTech), which is part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system. She earned her Ph.D. at the CUNY Graduate Center and has extensive teaching experience including tutoring high school students, working as a teaching assistant, teaching undergraduate classes at Baruch College, and instructing math majors at UC Berkeley as a postdoc.
