Kate Matheson is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Programme Leader at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) within the Health and Social Sciences department. She returned to UWE in 2018 as a Research Associate after completing her PhD there in 2011, transitioning to a Lecturer role in 2019 before becoming a Senior Lecturer. She leads the third-year module Transnational Crime and Comparative Criminology.
