Kate H. Bentley

Kate H. Bentley, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Suicide Prevention Research Program within the Center for Precision Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). She is also a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at MGH and a Research Associate at Harvard University.

Her research focuses on scalable transdiagnostic interventions for suicidal and nonsuicidal self-injurious thoughts and behaviors, with a particular emphasis on leveraging mobile devices to understand these phenomena and deliver real-time support to high-risk individuals. Key areas include:
