Professor Kate Flemming is the Head of Department of Health Sciences at the University of York, specializing in palliative care nursing and qualitative evidence synthesis. She leads integration of research into teaching curricula and serves as co-convener of the Cochrane Qualitative and Implementation Methods Group. Her clinical expertise spans motor neurone disease, advanced cancer pain management, and smoking cessation in pregnancy.
