Kate Duncanson

Kate Duncanson is Senior Lecturer and Director of Fieldwork for Social Work at Curtin University's School of Allied Health. With 16 years of prior social work experience, she coordinates fieldwork education across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Her research examines clinical supervision models with particular focus on integrating service user perspectives and lived experience educators into social work education.

Recent publications investigate participatory approaches to supervision, impacts of lived experience educators, support strategies for struggling placement students, and interdisciplinary supervision training. She received institutional recognition through Faculty and University Citations for Teaching and Learning.
