Kate Bloomquist is a Senior Lecturer in the College Writing Program at Washington University in St. Louis. She holds a PhD in American Literature (2012) from Washington University, with a Certificate in the Teaching of College Writing. Her academic roles include teaching first-year writing courses and summer pre-college programs for high school students. In 2018, she was honored with the Outstanding Writing Instructor award by first-year students.
