Dr. Kate Berry is a Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Nevada, Reno's College of Science. She holds research expertise in water governance, Indigenous geographies, and cultural politics of water, with extensive fieldwork across the western U.S., Latin America, and the Pacific. Her work examines how environmental policies reshape social identities and power dynamics. Dr. Berry chaired the International Program Advisory Committee for the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research and served as president of the Association of Pacific Coast Geographers.
