Kate Bermingham

Kate Bermingham is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Bucknell University, specializing in critical and democratic theory, reproductive justice, feminist critiques of the history of political thought, and the work of Hannah Arendt. Her scholarship bridges theoretical analysis with contemporary political and social issues.

• Ph.D. and M.A. in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame
• B.A., magna cum laude, in Government and English Literature from Georgetown University

Research Interests: Her work focuses on feminist political theory, interrogating the intersections of democratic theory, reproductive justice, and philosophical critiques of historical political frameworks. She contributes to discourses on Hannah Arendt's legacy in modern political and humanities scholarship.

Publications: Her research has appeared in New German Critique and HA, the Journal of the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities.
