Katarzyna Gorazda is a Professor at the Department of Chemical Technology and Environmental Analytics (C-1), Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology. She serves as Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and has been active in academic research and leadership roles.
Her research focuses on pro-ecological technologies, including waste management solutions and circular economy applications in chemical engineering. Projects she has led include the utilization of incinerated sewage sludge as agricultural fertilizers and the recovery of metals from copper smelting slags.
She completed her MSc in Chemical Technology in 2000, earned a PhD in Technical Sciences (Chemical Technology) in 2004, and obtained a DSc in 2019 from the same institution. Her work is affiliated with Polish and EU-funded grants such as PBS1/A1/3/2012 and CuBR-IV/414713/NCBR/2019.
