Katarzyna Golecka

Katarzyna Golecka is a Lecturer at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where she teaches folk dance in the Faculty of Choral Conducting, Church Music, Artistic Education, Rhythmics and Jazz. She holds dual academic appointments, also serving at the Pomeranian University in Słupsk in the Department of Musical Art.

Her educational background includes graduation from the Department of Choral Conducting, Music Education, and Eurhythmics at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, specializing in Eurhythmics. She has enhanced her qualifications with a jazz and folk dance instructor course from the Mazovian Dance Academy, postgraduate studies in Music Therapy at the Academy of Music in Wrocław, and a fitness trainer certification.

Ms. Golecka has developed an extensive career organizing educational activities, including 16 years of 'Interschool Rhythm Workshops' at the Primary and Secondary School of Music in Słupsk, international dance workshops in Tokyo, Japan (2017), and participation in scientific conferences at Carnegie Mellon University (2023) and the 'Chopin in the City' Festival in Chicago (2025). Her work focuses on integrating dance and music education across multiple platforms.
