Kaspars Stāmers

Kaspars Stāmers is an Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Medicine at Rīga Stradiņš University. His research focuses on salivary gland physiology, dental implants, and patient-centered care in oral surgery. He has contributed to studies on implant-retained overdentures, salivary gland vascular dynamics, and post-surgical outcomes.

Research Interests: His work spans oral surgery innovations, vascular biology in salivary glands, and optimizing implant systems. Notable projects include investigating patient preferences for dental implants and studying ischemia effects on salivary glands using animal models.

Grants/Projects: Participated in the 2018 EU-funded project 'Improvement of the management process and study content modernisation at Rīga Stradiņš University,' focusing on educational process optimization. Presented findings at conferences such as the 2023 poster on implant attachment systems and 2011 abstract on VEGF in salivary glands.
