Kaspars Kovaļenko is a Professor at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, and has served as its Dean since 2018. His research focuses on the One Health concept, antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases in livestock, and sustainable livestock production frameworks.
