About
Kasia Rejzner is Professor of Mathematics at the University of York, specializing in mathematical foundations of quantum field theory and quantum gravity. Her research employs differential geometry, operator algebras, and category theory to formalize perturbative QFT on curved spacetimes.
She developed rigorous frameworks for renormalization using the Epstein-Glaser scheme and constructed models of effective quantum gravity. Rejzner holds a PhD from the University of Hamburg and is a Visiting Fellow at Perimeter Institute.
