Karoline Postel-Vinay is a Senior Research Fellow at Sciences Po, affiliated with the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA). She holds a Ph.D. in International Relations from Sciences Po and a Master’s in Japanese Studies from INALCO. Her research focuses on global history, Japanese studies, and world order dynamics, with a particular emphasis on historical revisionism and international governance structures.
She has taught courses such as History as Present in Northeast Asia and Understanding International Politics. Her publications include works on the dissemination of Japanese historical revisionism and contested narratives of global modernity. Postel-Vinay collaborates with international research networks at Waseda University and Princeton University, and she currently serves on the Board of Directors of INALCO.
