Karl Skretting

Karl Skretting is an Associate Professor at the University of Stavanger (UiS) within the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is part of the Cybernetics Group and specializes in signal processing, data compression, and image processing. His research focuses on dictionary learning, sparse representation, and machine vision. Skretting earned his M.Sc. (siv.ing.) in 1998 and his Ph.D. in 2002 from UiS. He has extensive teaching experience, including courses on robotics, automation, and signal processing.
