Dr. Karl Mitchell serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling within the College of Education and Human Services at Texas A&M University-Commerce (East Texas A&M). With over 15 years of mental health field experience across diverse populations, he integrates teaching, clinical practice, and research to develop quality care interventions and address misdiagnosis through evidence-based approaches.
