Karin Ravn Pedersen

Karin Ravn Pedersen is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Health and Nursing Science at UiT The Arctic University of Norway, Faculty of Health Sciences, based in Narvik. She is actively involved in the Nursing BSc and further education programs, contributing to both teaching and research in clinical and educational aspects of nursing.

Her research interests span geriatric nursing, evidence-based practice, patient guidance, public health in nursing education, and the integration of newly qualified nurses into healthcare settings. She has extensively studied clinical training models, leadership development among nursing students, and challenges in nursing home care. Her collaborative work emphasizes academic-practice partnerships and internationalization in nursing education.
