Karin Klein is a Lecturer in Role and Scene Development at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts since 1996, concurrently serving as a member of the Darmstadt State Theater ensemble. Trained in theater studies and acting, she has performed in major German theaters including Heilbronn, Göttingen, Essen, Bremen, and guest roles in Frankfurt, Oberhausen, and others. Notable roles include Ranevskaya (Chekhov's *The Cherry Orchard*), Nora (Ibsen), Merteuil (*Dangerous Liaisons*), and Imelda Marcos (*I Am Like You, I Love Apples*). Her 2022/23 season included *Queen Lear*, and upcoming performances in 2025–2026 feature Kafka-inspired works in Darmstadt.
