Karin Hannes is a full professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences at KU Leuven, holding the Chair of Sociology. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary research through leadership roles in the Leuven Centre for Health Humanities, Leuven.AI, and LUSI - KU Leuven Institute for Urban Studies. Recent publications explore the application of futures wheel methodology, creative pedagogy in social sciences, and the role of art in evidence synthesis. She has developed tools like CONSENSYS for contextual sensitivity in systematic reviews and serves on the faculty council and board of social sciences.
