Karen Terry serves as a Consultant Lecturer in the Learning and Organizational Change department within Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy (SESP), where she functions as an ELOC Coach Educator for the MS in Learning and Organizational Change Program.
Her academic credentials include an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, a Master of Arts from Northwestern University, and dual advanced degrees (MA and Ed.D.) from Wright Graduate University. Terry's professional journey began in award-winning marketing and communications before transitioning to coaching in 2008.
Her research and practice focus on leadership development, organizational transformation, and adult learning systems, with specialized emphasis on human effectiveness coaching and longevity studies. She actively explores frameworks that help adults maintain meaningful engagement through life transitions, particularly in extended lifespans.
