Karen Jones holds the position of Professor at the Royal Academy of Music, where she has been since 2004. A renowned flutist, she serves as guest principal flute with major orchestras including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia, and London Sinfonietta. She is also principal flute of the London Chamber Orchestra and City of London Sinfonia. Her career includes film score work for Harry Potter, Sweeney Todd, and Bridget Jones.
Education: Studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Peter Lloyd.
