Karen Dunmall is an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Biology at Carleton University and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria. She is a Research Scientist with Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, specializing in assessing aquatic ecosystem change in the Canadian Arctic. Her work emphasizes fish biodiversity, coastal ecosystems, and community-led approaches through projects like Arctic Salmon and Arctic Coast.
