Karen Barrett is a Professor of Rehabilitation Services at the University of Maine at Farmington (UMF). She holds a PhD in Rehabilitation from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (1997), an MA from the same institution (1993), and a BS from UMF (1991). Her research focuses on human resources within rehabilitation organizations and organizational management in healthcare settings. She has published in journals such as Journal of Rehabilitation Administration, Rehabilitation Education, and Psychiatric Rehabilitation.
