About
Kamila Maria Jozwik is a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on understanding how the human brain constructs behaviorally-relevant representations of the visual world, employing a cognitive computational neuroscience approach. She integrates behavioral tasks, neuroimaging techniques (EEG, MEG, fMRI), and computational modeling, particularly using biologically inspired deep learning and large language models. Her work bridges neuroscience and AI, aiming to model visual processing computationally.
Research Interests:
- Neural mechanisms of visual perception
- Computational modeling of brain processes
- Integration of neuroimaging and machine learning
Awards:
- Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow
She collaborates with experts in primate electrophysiology and contributes to interdisciplinary research groups within the Department.
