Kamalika Chaudhuri is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), and also serves as a Director and Research Scientist with the FAIR team at Meta AI. Her research focuses on the foundations of trustworthy machine learning, including robust machine learning, learning with privacy, and out-of-distribution generalization.
Dr. Chaudhuri has earned her PhD from UC Berkeley in 2007 with a dissertation on "Learning Mixtures of Distributions." Her academic journey has led her to become a leading researcher in machine learning theory with a particular emphasis on privacy and robustness.
