Kalsoom Akhtar

Kalsoom Akhtar is a Lecturer in Primary Education (Mathematics) at the School of Education, University of Birmingham. She serves as Director of Primary ITE and personal tutor for Masters dissertation students.

• Education: MSc Mathematics Education, QTS, PGDip (Software Engineering), MSc Psychology

Research Focus: Mathematics education, creativity in pedagogy, and inclusive curriculum development through children's literature. She is currently pursuing a PhD in this domain.
