Kaleab Abebe is a Professor in Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh and serves as the Director of the Center for Clinical Trials & Data Coordination. His research specializes in multicenter randomized controlled trials (RCTs), particularly in polycystic kidney disease (PKD), where he leads the HALT-PKD Network's Data Coordinating Center (DCC). He also oversees statistical cores for comparative-effectiveness studies in gestational diabetes, HIV, and adolescent medicine.
